Jenny Dupas
Certified Reflexologist
Child Meditation Facilitator
Reiki Master/Teacher
Dowser

Many parents have difficulty understanding children of today and the gifts they possess. Through my experience as a parent and child meditation facilitator I found that there was a gap between what I was doing and the children, it was the parents. Through this discovery I realized that the parents needed to gain a better understanding of their children.

I am a certified Parent Coach with the Academy of Coaching Parents International, a certified Reflexologist with the Reflexology Association of Canada since 1999, graduate of the Usui System of Natural Healing as a Reiki Master/Teacher since 2003, Certified Dowser and a student of Hemi Sync Meditation at Aromansse since 2003. I am also the creator and facilitator of a Children's Meditation program employing the use of the Hemi-Sync technology. Through my own meditation practice I have rediscovered many tools that were always a part of me. All of these tools are implemented into my parent coaching practice.

As a parent coach I specialize in children who are considered sensitive. By working with me I will offer you support and guidance to understand your child on a whole new level of awareness. You will gain tools to guide, nurture and support your child and bring harmony and balance to your lives.

I have been married to Michel for 15 years and we have two amazing boys, Andre (10) and Cabrel (7). We own two home-based businesses, Blissful Soles Reflexology and Hammertime (handyman service). My family and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. You may contact me at mdupas1@mts.net or go to www.aromansse.com

Tammy Galati

I live in the Niagara Region in Ontario Canada. I have been married for 19 years; I am the proud mother of three children, two of which are my step children, their ages are 18, 23, and 25. I am also a proud aunt to my nieces and nephews who mean so much to me. During my journey in parenting, or as a role model for the children in my life, I feel I have learned many things from them along the way. Once my son was old enough I went back to school, with my studies in Social Services; I worked in the addiction field, women's shelter for battered women and their children, as well as with the homeless initiative; a place that helps the homeless find an affordable place to live. For the past seven years I have been working in a residential treatment center, when I was hired there the age group was, thirteen to eighteen in the past two years this has changed and I now work with children ages 9 to 12. While working in this agency there has been many changes, and I feel I have had the opportunity to grow and learn many things along the way, however this leaves me to questioning the gaps I feel need to be addressed. Karen Gardner

Before becoming a parent coach, Karen Gardner enjoyed a number of child centered occupations. She has been a member of a specialized Head Start team, studied special and early childhood education, and developed a creative writing program for at risk children. It was when she became a journalist specializing in family issues, however, that her interest in parenting theory and single parent issues took center stage.

As a writer, Karen was exposed to massive amounts of parenting information from countless childrearing experts. She found the experience to be mind boggling, but in the end she discovered one simple truth—Parents are the experts when it comes to their own children. This belief is the premise on which her coaching practice is based. Karen acknowledges the many parenting theories, but sincerely believes there is no universal approach to childrearing. She feels every parent, child, and family has a unique perspective.

This, in turn, makes their difficulties and triumphs as individual as they are. Karen carries this belief into her coaching practice, and uses it to empower parents in their role as experts. In addition to her professional qualifications, Karen is a single parent. Her daughter, Irene, is a high school senior looking forward to studying architecture in the fall. Karen credits Irene for teaching her about life, love, and believing in herself as a parent. Karen can be reached at kygardner@verizon.net.

ACPI Testimonial
ACPI Parent Coaching certification was invaluable! When I first realized how strong my heart's desire was to help parents learn positive ways to parent; I didn’t know where to turn. I knew that I wanted to help teach/encourage parents who were struggling, but didn't know that a Parent Coach was a viable option until I was led to Dr. Caron Goode. After our first phone conversation; I knew that this was what I wanted to do during the Fall of my life. The course work was easy to grasp and the instructors were extremely knowledgeable and supportive. My many years of practical experience; coupled with this training has given me the confidence I need to become who I am; A Parent Coach. Thank you Caron for providing this career opportunity for me, and thank you to all of the wonderful instructors and my classmates who also provided their own support and practical insight.
