ACPI Certified Coach® for Parents
As an
ACPI Certified Coach®
for Parents, you
receive the training and the marketing information needed to establish
yourself as a parent coach within your community. The
ACPI Certified Coach®
for Parents credentials verify your training and completion of
program requirements that entitle you to coach parents and families or
to offer parent education classes.
Parent coaching is a
booming new home-based business. A parent coach is a personal coach who
specializes in parent/child issues. When a parent needs help overcoming
a challenge, they now have the option of hiring a parent coach. Parent
coaches primarily function as mentors who listen, clarify situations,
identify problems, and offer solutions. They also help parents regain a
feeling of empowerment and increased confidence in their parenting
skills. This, in turn, elevates the parent's innate sense of nurturing
and restores the joy many families lose during times of conflict.
-
Nannies who have completed the Nanny
as Parent Coach Program will receive educational credit for Track 1
and Track 4 of the ACPI Certified Coach®
